University of TN Extension has started nutrition class at Ladies of Charity Knoxville. This six week course for families with children will teach new recipes, food preparation and food safety. Each student receives a kitchen tool each week and the food items to prepare the current class recipe at home. So far, the students are enjoying a new colander, recipe calendar and shopping notepad. Recipe of the week is fruit salad.
